Technology Transfer
Research activity during this transitional year was no less productive, including continuing projects with Department of Defense sponsors such as SMDC, ARDEC and many more. New programs such as the NOAA Global Infrasound program were proposed and begun. Other programs changed focus as the research teams responded to the national needs of funding agencies and sponsors. The NCPA interaction with industry continues to grow and be successful.
The center partners directly with local Mississippi companies such as Radiance Technologies, Miltec, as well as with other national and international companies like Toyota, SAIC and others. The NCPA plans to continue these relationships and cultivate others as we continue to broaden the collaborative approach to conducting research and development activities at the Center.
