Dr. Nathan Murray Elected AIAA Associate Fellow – Class of 2024

 

Dr. Nathan Murray (NCPA Interim Director and Senior Scientist, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Mississippi NASA Space Grant Consortium) has been elected Associate Fellow – Class of 2024 of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) for important contributions to a wide range of applied and fundamental aeroacoustics problems and leadership in the field.

 

AIAA Associate Fellows are “individuals of distinction who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics.”

 

Each year, only one for every 150 voting members is selected and approved.  The selection process is highly competitive, and only approximately 17% of the AIAA membership are associate fellows.
