Vahid Naderyan wins UM 3MT Competition

Vahid Naderyan was the winner of the master’s thesis 3MT competition for presentation of his research conducted at NCPA.  The research is conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rich Raspet and Dr. Craig Hickey, on wind noise and its interaction with the ground.  The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition that is being promoted by graduate schools throughout the US and the world.  This activity challenges graduate students to present a compelling oration on their research thesis/dissertation topic and its significance in just three minutes and allows them to use on Power Point slide.  The University of Mississippi had a vigorous and interesting 3MT competition this year with a total of 62 participants.
