Dr. James M. Sabatier Named the 2019 Recipient of the ASA Silver Medal in Physical Acoustics

 

Dr. James M. Sabatier, Research Professor at the University of Mississippi and Principal Scientist at the National Center for Physical Acoustics, has been named the recipient of the 2019 Silver Medal in Physical Acoustics. He is cited “for pioneering studies of acoustic-seismic coupling and its application to the humanitarian cause of detecting landmines “.
